As part of our ongoing review process, we recently identified an issue in the NHL game simulator related to how player statistics were being sourced.

In certain simulations, projected stats were being used in place of the intended actual statistics. This was not the expected behavior and could have impacted the realism of some simulation results.

The issue has been fully corrected. All NHL simulations now properly reference actual stats where intended, ensuring results align with the design and goals of the simulator. We have also added additional checks to prevent this type of mismatch from occurring in the future.

Accuracy and transparency are core to what we’re building at MyGameSim. We regularly audit our data pipelines and simulation logic, and when something does not meet our standards, we address it directly and promptly.
