Game Sim's NCAA Tournament Prediction Schedule

  • Today: West/Midwest Regions
  • Tuesday: East/South Regions
  • Wednesday: Final Four and Champion Announced

West

Notes

  • The Oregon/Oklahoma State game could have gone either way, but Oregon won more often than not.
  • Baylor was an interesting team, if they can make it past Xavier they could make a run. That said, Xavier had their number most of the time.
  • Ohio State is a talented team, and they did make it wouldn't surprise me (or Game Sim) to see them sneak past Arizona.
  • In general Game Sim isn't high on Arizona as both Baylor and Xavier advanced to the Final 8 more often.

Midwest

Notes

  • The Indiana Hoosiers are the surprise here, as the #10 seed advanced to the 2nd weekend with a win over Kansas.
  • Texas also beat Notre Dame on a number of occasions producing two double-digit seeds in the round of 16.  Notre Dame won more often than not so the Irish advance past Texas.
  • The Maryland/West Virginia was another tight one that could have gone either way.
  • Kentucky wasn't challenged in the first 3 rounds.

Make sure to check out the predictions for the East and South Regions tomorrow.
